A little care keeps your squishy soft, clean and squishable for years. Here's how to clean it, store it, and handle common issues.
How to clean a silicone squishy
Wipe gently with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then air-dry. Don't soak it or machine-wash it. Keep it in its bag when you're not squeezing to keep dust and lint off.
Storage & protecting it from damage
- Keep out of direct sunlight and heat — prevents discoloration and deformation.
- Store in its bag, away from sharp objects.
- Don't over-squeeze slow-rise / non-rebound types.
Why squishies feel different in winter
Cold makes silicone firmer and less stretchy, and some squishies get more fragile in low temperatures. Let yours warm to room temperature before squeezing hard.
Rebound feeling off?
Slow-rise squishies naturally rebound more slowly when cool or heavily used. Let it rest and warm up — the soft, slow rise comes back.
